What happened.
The 7th Gear Challenge ran in Concepción in August 2026. Frank competed and ended up among the finalists. The certificate in the photo says it in those words: Grand Finalist, 7th Gear Challenge 2026, team Frank.
What we took to compete was a working product. A real-time voice conversation against a counterpart that answers back, pushes and can end the meeting, running in the browser with nothing to install. A session lasts 5 to 10 minutes, the answer comes back in under 1.5 seconds, and once it ends the report appears with the analysis of how the person sounded against their own baseline.
It is the third competition Frank entered in 2026, after the Red Bull Basement national final in Santiago and the world final in San Francisco, in June.
What it means for the product.
What this milestone adds is an outside party from the region that looked at the product up close and placed it among the finalists. What measures whether a team gets better at its conversations is something else, and it lives inside the product: each person’s delta against their own baseline.
The product is made from day one for Chile, Latin America and the United States, and it is built from Concepción.
What we took to compete was the product running in the browser, with real voice, instead of a promise of what it would do.
The result was settled by the challenge’s organizers, who are the ones who can confirm it.
